A Disney Moment

On Thursday I let Lacey wag Kindy so that she could go and meet with her favourite 'people', Mickey and Minnie. Unfortunately, I couldn't wag work so I sent her on her way with my Lil Sis {aka Lacey's Godmother}.

The two of them hit the City, spent $15 on popcorn and bopped along to Mickey and his mates in the Disney Live concert. She was so excited the week leading up to the big day, and hasn't stopped talking about it since. I saw some video my sister took {at my request} and all I could hear was Lacey and my Lil Sis squealing in delight as the show went on.

And that hat! It's Jesse from Toy Story's hat. It hasn't really left her head since that day. Hubby and I have even had our turn at wearing it, I must 'fess up!

Thanks to Disney for the complimentary tickets. Lacey had the best time, I'm told.

If you want to see Disney Live, check out the dates here.

  1. My godson went to this and he is now doing shows for all of us. He plays all the characters so it's very hard to follow. It's a great day out for the youngun's and the oldies.

  2. She looks so pretty!

Mine were / are all terrified of live shows. Cappers ran from a Wiggles concert screaming "I don't like them when they're real!"

  4. Oh we love Jesse & Disney, wow, once you've been to Disneyland it is all the more exciting. My middle girl went as Jessie 'the yodelling cowgirl' to book week about 5 years ago, i painted a straw hat red, the real thing would have been amazing. Love Posie

  5. We have a date with our mouse friends in a couple of weeks and I can't wait. Although this was a little reminder to put some $$$$$ aside, that way I can get 2 Jessie hats so Sadie and I don't fight over them!!

  10. Beautiful <3

I've taken my son to Disney on Ice over the last couple of years and he loves it. I loathe him growing up and not having an excuse to let out my inner child. Thankfully, his brother is 5-years his junior so I don't have long until I can do it all again <3

Love the photos, looks like she had a great time :) xxx

  15. This makes me miss Disneyland ever so much. I grew up in Los Angeles, so my parents would take me there often. I always considered myself lucky. I never once took it for granted.
