I am so beyond stoked at how my pieces worked out for my column, Bubble & Squeak {cute, right?}, in the first issue of Maeve magazine. Both of my articles were printed, as were all of my photos. I got a whole five pages. Crazy.
Do you know what's even crazier? I'm a nanny. A mumma. A wife. A sister. A daughter. I started this blog because I was bored whilst breastfeeding my newborn little baby. I set it on private and wrote for me. And now in this past fortnight I've been in a popular parenting magazine, on a TV show and now I have a column in a cute magazine. That's craziness.
I hope that doesn't sound like a brag. It's just that life moves so fast, and sometimes I forget to be present and realise what's happening. And it's good stuff that's going on. I should be present.
